Donations are gratefully received!
If you are a UK Tax Payer then by simply letting us know your name and address we can send you a Gift Aid Form by hand or by email. Please send or email your completed form to the Treasurer.
A Gift Aid form is available to download here Friends-of-St-Mary’s-Comberton-GiftAid .
You only need to do this once and any donations (past or future) to the Friends can then have Gift Aid Tax recovered by us directly from HMRC. There is NO COST to you but it makes your effective donation bigger !
- If you pay income tax at the higher 40% rate then YOU can claim back the extra tax that you paid on the amount.
- For example if you donate £100 to the Friends of St Mary’s Church – we claim Gift Aid of nd extra £25 to make your effective donation bigger at £125. If you pay 40% tax then you can claim back £25 personally (£125 x 20%). It’s a Win WIN situation !
You can also set up a Standing Order through your bank or building society. If you email the Treasurer, we will send you the details of our Bank Account for your use with Online Banking, or provide a Standing Order Form as you wish . We haven’t put it up on the website to prevent any identity theft.
